MAYYA.NET is a personal site publishing development notes, hobbies, and small games, and distributing MayyaCore, a framework for .NET development.
1. What this site offers
- Blog — development notes and things learned along the way. The front page is the post list.
- Games — Sudoku, Go-Stop, Rummy and Lotto, played straight in the browser.
- Collection — a currency collection, cataloged with photographs.
2. What requires an account
Browsing needs no account. Posts and the collection are open to everyone. Signing in is required only for things that stay yours, such as comments.
Nothing else on this site requires an account.
3. What we receive from social sign-in
You can sign in with a Google or GitHub account. We receive only the following from the provider.
- Name — used as the initial value of your display nickname (you can change it afterwards).
- Email address — used to identify your account and to send you notices.
- Profile picture — used as your display picture when you sign up. We store only the address, not the image file, so the picture is loaded from the provider's server each time it is shown. A picture you upload yourself takes precedence, and a change on the provider's side follows on your next sign-in.
We use this only to create your account, verify who you are, and show your name and picture on screen. We do not use it for anything else, we do not pass it to third parties, and we do not request any other data the provider holds (mailbox, documents, contacts, and the like).
4. Disconnecting and deleting
You can disconnect a linked social account at any time under Connected services, and delete your account through Delete account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone — the full procedure is described in Data Deletion.
