TERMS
Terms of Service
Effective August 18, 2026
This is a reference translation. The
Korean version
is the authoritative text; where the two differ, the Korean text governs.
These terms set out what you need to know to use MAYYA.NET (“the site”).
The site is run by an individual.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the site's services, and the rights
and obligations of users and the operator.
2. Definitions
- Service — the boards, collection records, hobby sections, package requests and every other feature the site offers
- User — anyone using the service under these terms, member or not
- Member — someone who has completed sign-up including email verification
- Content — posts, photos, comments and anything else a user puts on the service
3. Effect and amendment
These terms take effect when posted on the site. We give notice at least 7 days before
an amendment takes effect, and 30 days before any amendment unfavourable to users.
If you do not accept an amendment, you may close your account.
4. Signing up
- You must be 14 or older to sign up.
-
You must complete email verification before you can use the service.
Sign-in is refused until then.
-
We may refuse or later cancel a sign-up that:
- uses another person's name or details
- contains false information
- belongs to someone previously restricted for breaching these terms
5. What you must not do
- Impersonate others or misuse their accounts or personal information
- Post content that infringes copyright, reputation or other rights
- Post obscene, discriminatory or violent content
- Disrupt normal operation of the service (excessive automated requests, exploiting weaknesses)
- Use the service commercially without the operator's permission
6. Content and copyright
- You keep the copyright in what you post.
- The site may use your content as far as showing and promoting the service requires (display, search results).
-
Content breaching clause 5 may be hidden or removed without prior notice.
Where the matter is not urgent, we tell you first.
7. Availability
- The service aims to be available at all times.
- It may be suspended for maintenance, equipment replacement, network failure or force majeure; we give notice in advance where we can.
-
The site is run by an individual at no charge. We may change or discontinue all or part
of the service; if we discontinue it, we give 30 days' notice so you can retrieve your data.
8. Restrictions
- Breaching clause 5 may lead to a warning, removal of content, or suspension of your account.
-
A suspended account cannot sign in, and its nickname and email address stay reserved
so that nobody else can take them. This prevents signing up again under the same name to evade a suspension.
- If you disagree with a measure, write to the contact below and we will look into it.
9. Closing your account
- You may close your account at any time from My page.
-
Closing it erases your member information on the spot, and this cannot be undone.
See the Privacy Policy for details.
-
Content you have already posted may remain. Please delete anything you want removed
before closing your account.
10. Buying a paid licence
-
Paid licences are ordered from the product page, and only signed-in members can
order — so that the issued licence appears under My page.
-
The organisation name you enter is signed into the licence key and cannot be
changed after issue. Changing it means issuing a new key.
-
The key is sent to the email address given in the order once payment has been confirmed.
Placing an order does not by itself issue a licence.
-
The price is the amount shown on screen at the time of the order. If the amount charged
would differ, we tell you and obtain your agreement first.
-
For editions with a term, extending the term is free and can be done from
My licences.
11. Withdrawal and refunds
-
You may withdraw from the purchase within 7 days of payment.
-
However, once the licence key has been sent, withdrawal is restricted under
Article 17(2) of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. A licence key is
reproducible digital content, and sending it constitutes the start of supply.
-
Because of that restriction we provide a free trial. Please use it to confirm
the product suits your purpose before buying.
-
Despite paragraph 2, you may still withdraw where:
-
the product differs from how it was described or the contract was performed differently:
within 3 months of supply, and within 30 days of the day you knew or could have known;
-
a defect makes normal use impossible and it is not corrected within a reasonable period.
-
Withdrawal is accepted by email at the address below. We refund within 3 business
days of receiving it, by the same means used for payment, or by bank transfer to an
account you nominate where that is not possible.
-
A refunded licence ceases to have effect. You must stop using the product
under that licence and delete installed copies.
- Term extensions are free and are therefore not refundable.
12. Limitation of liability
- We are not liable where the service cannot be provided for reasons beyond the operator's control, such as force majeure or network failure.
- Responsibility for posted content rests with the user who posted it.
-
We are not liable for benefits you expected but did not obtain, or for loss arising from material
obtained through the service. This does not apply to loss caused by the operator's
intent or gross negligence.
13. Contact and disputes
Please send enquiries to mayyanet1976@gmail.com.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are heard by the court
having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
